Who is the Course/Module intended for?

The Module is set at an introductory level and is intended for newly qualified staff, those new in post and those with little experience of child protection.

What will the Course give you?

Examples of some recognised techniques for managing difficult situations.
An understanding of what constitutes effective communication in child protection.
Examples of how difficult situations can be diffused to reduce personal risk.

What will you be able to do at the end of the training?

You will be able to consider how to communicate difficult information to parents and carers.
