Module 6 - Creating a Safe Care Environment for Children and Adults

 

Who is the Course/Module intended for?

The Module is set at an introductory level and is intended for newly qualified staff, those new in post and those with little experience of child protection.

 

What will the Course give you?

• Guidance on how to set and maintain appropriate boundaries in your work.
• An understanding of situations where there is potential for allegations against you, other members of staff or volunteers.
• An awareness of how to minimise allegations against staff.

What will you be able to do at the end of the training?

• Demonstrate an understanding of situations where there is the potential for allegations to be made against staff or volunteers.
• Consider ways of reducing the potential of allegations at work.
• Demonstrate an awareness of your role if you become concerned about the behaviour of a member of staff or volunteer.
