Module 8 - Child Protection Awareness for Administrators and Office Reception Staff

 

Who is the Course/Module intended for?

Front Desk and Reception Staff who have direct contact with service users.

 

What will the Course give you?

• An understanding of the value of observation.
• An understanding of roles and responsibilities with regard to child protection.
• Knowledge of how to report information you receive.

What will you be able to do at the end of the training?

• Understand your role in the child protection process.
• Recognise when there are child protection concerns.
• Be able to manage challenging or distressed service users.
• Know how to make a referral - importance in full and clear information.
• Gather, record, report and present information regarding child protection concerns.
