Staff who are required to attend Court to present evidence.

What will the Course give you?

An understanding of the Court process, roles and requirements for care planning.
An understanding of the legislative framework and options in decision making to meet the needs of a child.
An understanding of the principles governing family proceedings in Court.
An understanding of evidence based practice, fact and opinion.

What will you be able to do at the end of the training?

Understand how to present written reports professionally and in the appropriate format.
Present information verbally to Court.
Present evidence in Court professionally.
Compile Court reports and chronologies.
Identify appropriate Orders and requirements to meet the needs of children.
