Common Assessment Framework and Working Together

 

Who is the Course/Module intended for?

Multi agency staff working with children and families.

 

What will the Course give you?

• An overview and working knowledge of the Framework for the Common Assessment of Children in Need and their Families (CAF).
• An overview of the legal framework and 'Working Together'.
• An understanding of your role in undertaking assessments, including the knowledge, values and skills necessary.

What will you be able to do at the end of the training?

• Demonstrate an understanding of the Framework and its application in practice.
• Be able to describe the key features of the legislation and 'Working Together'.
• Be able to participate in the assessment process for children and their families.

Please Note:
This course has been cancelled as the LCPP are currently being updated and CAF pilots are underway. Training will be rolled out in line with ISA next year.
