Who is the Course/Module intended for?

All professionals who work with or have contact with children and families.

What will the Course give you?

An awareness of domestic violence.
Clarity of agencies roles in respect of domestic violence.
Some understanding of ways to intervene.
An understanding of the legislative context of working with domestic violence.
An understanding of the impact upon children and families of domestic violence.

What will you be able to do at the end of the training?

Understand multi-agency roles and responsibilities in relation to domestic violence.
How to approach and manage risk in relation to domestic violence.
Demonstrate an understanding of the legislative context of working with domestic violence.

Trainer/Consultant: Representatives from the Borough services that provide advice and support for domestic violence sufferers.
