Intermediate Level -Drugs and Alcohol - Impact, Management and Child Protection

 

Who is the Course/Module intended for?

Professionals who are working with children and young people who have been or are currently involved in abusing drugs and alcohol related behaviour.

 

What will the Course give you?

• A greater confidence in the management of young people who abuse drugs and alcohol.
• An understanding of identification, risk indicators and causation.
• Knowledge of the process of managing young people at risk.

What will you be able to do at the end of the training?

• Identify indicators or risk and undertake a risk assessment.
• Know how to assess and access appropriate support.
• ?Acknowledge the role of the parents in understanding causation and undertaking ongoing management.
